Wibbo Privacy Policy
Last updated
This policy covers Wibbo, our iOS app for young children, and the pulipe.com website. Pulipe is based in India and can be reached at [email protected].
The short version
Wibbo does not collect personal information from anyone, child or grown-up. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking software of any kind. Nothing your child taps is sent to us. The two boxes on this website are the only exception, and only if a grown-up types into them themselves: the notify box and the support form.
What we do not collect
Inside the app, none of the following is collected from anyone:
- No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or birthdays.
- No photos, contacts, calendar, or location data.
- No camera or microphone access. Wibbo never asks for either.
- No device advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not serve ads.
- No analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs of any kind. The one third-party library Wibbo does ship is Lottie, which draws animations and collects nothing.
What stays on the device
Wibbo remembers which cards your child has played, which ones they starred, and their progress stars. This is stored locally on the iPhone or iPad using Apple's standard on-device storage. It never leaves the device, we cannot see it, and deleting the app erases it permanently.
Network connections
Wibbo downloads its photos, videos and voice clips as you open a category, and caches them so the same cards load quickly next time. Those files come from:
- assets.pulipe.com, our own asset storage on Cloudflare.
- api.pexels.com, for licensed stock photography.
- cdn.jsdelivr.net, for open-source illustration assets.
Like any web request, these carry your device's IP address and are recorded in the providers' standard server logs. We do not use those logs to build profiles, we do not link them to any person, and we do not combine them with anything else. No information about what your child tapped is included in these requests.
The notify list on this website
The one thing we do collect is an email address, and only if you type it into the notify box on pulipe.com yourself. It is stored on Cloudflare, it is never sold or shared, and it buys you exactly one email when the next app is ready. There is nothing to collect for a child here: the box sits on the studio's website, not inside Wibbo. Reply to that email, or write to [email protected] at any time, and we will delete the address.
The support form on this website
The support form on our support page sends what you type straight to our mailbox, using Resend to carry the message. We keep the name, address and text you wrote for as long as it takes to answer you and to remember the answer if you write again. It is never sold, shared, or used to send you anything you did not ask for. Ask us to delete the correspondence and we will.
Subscriptions and payment
Wibbo offers an optional subscription, purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple handles the entire transaction. We never see or receive your card number, billing address, or Apple Account details. Wibbo receives only an anonymous receipt from Apple confirming whether a valid subscription exists on the device. Apple's own privacy policy governs the payment itself.
Children's privacy
Wibbo is designed for children aged two to five and participates in Apple's Kids Category. It is built to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR's rules on children's data, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Because we collect no personal information from children, there is no parental consent to give, no data to review, and nothing for a parent to request the deletion of. Anything that leaves the app, such as our contact email, sits behind a parental gate that a young child cannot pass.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data. The only personal data we hold at all is what a grown-up typed into the notify box or the support form. We would only disclose information if compelled by law, and we hold nothing about your child that such a request could reach.
Deleting your data
Deleting Wibbo from the device removes all stored progress. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, write to [email protected] and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the app's release notes.
